Getting Started

You can try a free edition of Tableau Desktop:

Academic Version (1-year free trial license): http://www.tableausoftware.com/academic/students 

Non-Academic Version (1-month free trial license): http://www.tableausoftware.com/products/desktop/download?os=windows

• Download
  • Select Download Tableau Desktop / Free Trial. You're going to download the TableauDesktop-64bit.exe (107 MB).
  • You also need to download Microsoft Access Database Engine 2007 for connecting to:
    • Excel 2007, 2010 and 2013 (Case Study #1)
    • Access 2007, 2010 and 2013 (Case Study #2)

  • You can also navigate to http://tableausoftware.webex.com/meet/demo

• Click on the tab "Files"
• Expand the "Training Workbook" folder
• Click on the "Download" link to the right of the folder
